THEME: TRAVEL FOR A CAUSE
Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls in Eastern Uganda in the district of Kapchorwa, northeast of Sironko and Mbale. The waterfalls lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park near the Kenyan border.
What to Expect
This season you have an opportunity to explore the culture that makes Sipi even more vibrant. Interact and faceoff with local sebei that have not ceased to put up a fight to end female genital mutilation. Enjoy the sundowner, abseiling and the splendid views on the hiking trails among other activities led by the local community guides. Get a close up experience of the 3 falls, meditating upon each roar produced by each as the water splashes at you.
